'I'iwi skeleton and 'Ohi'a blossoms.

So often the perception of Hawai'i is of a lush paradise with no thought for the delicate ecosystem of the islands. Both the 'I'iwi and 'Ohi'a are endemic to the Hawai'ian islands and as such are threatened species. This series highlights the fragility of things we find beautiful but often take for granted.
